Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement Division helps to protect the City of Angus public’s well-being and enhance the quality of life by enforcing the health, safety, zoning and sanitation codes.

You will be notified of code violations in writing and given a set time to get your violation resolved.  If you have not gotten the violation resolved in the amount of time given, a police officer will be sent to your address to issue a citation for the violation and you will be required to appear in municipal court.
